Computational Nanotechnology Lab at Michigan State University

Postdoctoral Research Associate in Computational Nanotechnology

We are seeking outstanding candidates to join the Computational Nanotechnology group at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, funded through the NSF Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center for High-Rate Nanomanufacturing. The position is initially for one year and expected to be renewed, upon mutual agreement. Activities will include performing computer simulations of nanostructures, mentoring graduate students, and maintaining computational environment including project-specific software. Successful candidates should have a PhD in computational Condensed Matter Physics or Computational Chemistry, be capable of writing and maintaining original code in Fortran, and be familiar with the Unix operating system. Exceptional candidates with weaker expertise in one of these areas may still be considered.
